The variety of facial cleansers
Aveda Botanical kinetics creme cleanser £17
This is best suited to normal/dry skin types, can be massaged all over face and eyes if they are not sensitive (Although a seperate eye-make up remover is recomended) and remove with damp cotton pads, the creamy smooth consistency and lavender aroma sooth tired tight skin and leaves the skin feeling soft and fresh no rinsing needed so great for those tired evenings that you want to take your make up off in bed and not stand around in the bathroom. It does leave a little residue which is great if your feeling dry or tight but if you dont want the extra moisture i would choose a micellar water instead.
Aveda Botanical kinetics gel cleanser £17
The gel formula is great for normal to oily skin types but is great for anyne who wants that fresh feeling and likes to wash with water, like i do in the mornings or in the shower. with 16 certified essential oils including camomile lavender and anti-oxidant vitamin E this gives a squeeky clean finish but does not strip the skin of its natural oils.
Bare minerals purifying facial cleanser £15
This has a light gel/cream consistency that is a bit softer to use than a clear gel formular which can leave your skin a bit too squeeky clean! it foams up with water and dissolves make-up. i would recomend this on all skin types if you like to wash with water, a great one for in the bath or shower.
Origins clean energy facial cleansing oil £22.50
So iv blogged about this beauty before, so will keep it short, This is great for all skin types, even oily skins as oil helps to remove oil, it dissolves make-up and softens irritated skin. with anti oxidants and essential oils this is a must for everyone, its quick and easy to use melting make up away in seconds, great for bath or shower too.
loreal skin perfecting micellar water £5
This is a new concept thats taken the media by storm so i had to try it out. With so many companies jumping on the band wagon i guessed there must be somethng in all the hype. I must admit i was pleasantly suprised with this one as i thought how much can a "water" actually do? I expected it to feel like a toner and feel a bit astringent and maybe sting my skin a little, i thought it would take a bit of time to remove my make up too. In fact it was the opposite of my expectations. The formuls looks and feels like water and smells neautral. i put it onto dry cotton pads and held over my eyes ,they didnt sting and my make up instantly dissolved. I wiped 2 new saturated cotton pads over my entire face and neck and was left with a clean fresh face no stinging and no tightness, amazing as if by magic! A great alternative to your cream cleanser, can be used anytime anywhere no mess. and at £5 its totally affordable.
