Arbonne

I heard this name a few times through different people 'joining' the brand so I was intrigued to find out what the brand was all about as the people joining had no beauty background but where really excited about being able to use and sell a beauty range and get paid for it.
the ethos behind the brand 'natural products that are good for you and the earth' really resonated with me from my time with Aveda. Arbonne sell botanically based beauty, health and wellness products That are pure safe and beneficial. Arbonne have a transparent and honest ingredient policy which I feel is so important these days as we are all becoming more vigilant with checking the ingredients list and becoming more aware of what goes into our skincare and onto our skin. The products are Naturally inspired and scientifically proven, again similar to Aveda.
I was lucky enough to try the re9 advanced anti-ageing range
the calm range, detox body spa and the baby range. I have mixed reviews on the products, I wanted to love them but found the calm range a bit bland, but maybe that's because my skin isn't particularly sensitive. The RE9 range had a bit more to it, it had a nice orange like aroma, which actually reminded me more of a Terry's chocolate orange rather than the citrus fruit but that made it seem nice and creamy and almost comforting to use. My skin felt and looked good and I'm sure if I used it for a little longer it would definitely have made an improvement. The baby range was light and easy to use and had a soft fresh sent, it's nice to find a nappy cream that is natural and protecting, this was a bit thick to use and very white so it did take a bit of getting used to but I loved the fact I knew exactly what I was putting into my baby's skin.
Over all I love the brand ethos, and I do like the products but I wasn't blown away by them. They do have a large range that includes make up too so I'm positive I'd find something else in the collection that I liked better than the products I had tried. because there ethos fits with my beliefs and standards I'm defiantly not righting them off as a brand and I am looking forward to trying out some of their other products.
