MAC lipstick addict

The "lipstick effect" has always astounded me, it can be traced back to the great depression of the 1930's.Industrial production halved but the sales of cosmetics rose.
When times are hard and we have to tighten our belts rather than not shop at all we reach for the cheaper items to cheer ourselves up, substituting larger extravagances for smaller luxuries.
So even though we cant afford that trip to the Caribbean we can still perk ourselves up with a luxury item in our hand bags, giving us "the feel good factor".

At just £15.50 MAC lipsticks give us that feeling of buying into the luxury market without breaking the bank, with such a vast array of colours and textures to suit every season or mood my answer is "NO" a girl can never have too many lipsticks especially if they are MAC.

I prefer the brighter shades worn with a bit of black eyeliner and mascara only, let the lips do the talking. Its the perfect way to update your look and the easiest quick fix to brighten your face when your not feeling your best. Why do you think Richards Branson chose red lips for his virgin uniform? Ever wondered how they still look great after a 12 hour flight with no sleep?

The best true red has got to be Ruby Woo this would suit all skin tones, never tried red before? seriously your missing out give it a go.
